“ Had lunch with my family here yesterday, the food we had was delicious & the service we received was welcoming & friendly. We left full up which is always a good sign, we would definitely return if in the area in the future. ”
“ Had a lovely evening at The Boatshed for our last day of our Holidays to Penzance. We had stopped nearby and spotted the place walking past during the week and checked out the menu and reviews made us book a table for the evening. Although the website mentioned that seating was catered for around 6 people they managed to squeeze 7 of us on a table without difficulty. We all enjoyed the food, meals arrived together with good timings for all courses. Friendly staff and nice, clean environment. Would recommend a visit if your in the area. ”
“ Amazing food. The trio of Cornish fish really did not disappoint, or the winter berry cheesecake with a generous scoop of clotted cream. Great service. A little shabby with a portable heater next to our table... beer could have been colder. ”
“ Delicious food, they really know how to cook fish! And their sides are not overcomplicated but very tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it! ”
“ This is a casual restaurant, that everyone in Penzance should visit. The menu is extensive but with an emphasis on fish. I had the prawns as a starter, and they were firm and tasty. For the main I had the whole Brill it was amazing, well cooked and moist. My wife had the burger, it was huge, make sure you are hungry to take this. The staff were great. Local produce used and fresh. ”
“ Great service Sienna and Zelah were so helpful and even though we came in at 2035 pm made us feel welcome. The food is amazing and great value my compliments to the chef. warm welcome. I highly recommend the boat shed ”
“ We are 10 minutes into closing time for the Boatshed but they still accommodate us. We just came came from St Ives and Lands End on a very rainy day. Excellent service, delicious food, love my mackerel fillet thank you guysi only have few descent photos because were on the rush to go to the hotel where we stay. But definitely recommends Boatshed. ”
“ Excellent meal. Booking recommended as we visited early in the evening and the restaurant started to fill up quite quickly. Seated quickly downstairs, though we did ask to move upstairs. This wasn't an issue and there were plenty of places to choose from. We were served by Maisie and were given plenty of time to peruse the menu. So many options and all very tempting. Judging by the quality of the whole sea bass that I chose I don't think you would be disappointed with any meal that is offered. If we had been staying in Penzance longer we would certainly have eaten there again. ”
